From June 15 to 17, 2025, the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) will host the first regional meeting of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) in Bulgaria. The event, organized by our partners BCCI, brings together economic development leaders from across Europe to exchange experiences and discuss the future of business, investment, real estate, and the role of artificial intelligence in the economy.
Invest Sofia was represented by Viktor Goussev, Head of the Investment Analysis Department, who participated in the opening panel discussion “Bulgaria as an Investment Destination.” Together with Mila Nenova from the Bulgarian Investment Agency (BIA), he commented on the strategic importance of Sofia and the country as locations for business and investment in the region.
“Sofia is already recognized as a preferred choice for companies with an innovative profile. The role of Invest Sofia is precisely to accelerate this process, to provide solutions, to connect and assist investors in the implementation of their projects,” said Goussev. He emphasized the important role of the Agency as a “one-stop shop” that assists investors or entrepreneurs who want to develop on the territory of Sofia Municipality at every step.
The event program includes interactive panels with experts in real estate, regional economic integration and digital transformation. The regional meeting also creates opportunities for partnerships, exchange of best practices, and interviews with international representatives of the WTCA.
