GREEN CARD
for Administrative Services to Investors, Entrepreneurs, and Startups
The Green Card for
Administrative Services
authorizes investors and entrepreneurs who start and implement investment projects in the territory of Sofia Municipality to receive upon request assistance for:
- Implementation assistance for their investment projects through information and administrative services
- Legal and administrative mediation
- Networking with potential partners, with the active participation of Invest Sofia during the meetings
- Project implementation opportunities analyses and step-by-step guidance on the necessary actions
- Connections with funding institutions, regulatory and administrative bodies in Sofia Municipality, recruitment agencies, universities, and others
There is a special emphasis on innovative startup enterprises, for which no general incentive measures are provided in the legislation of the Investment Promotion Act (IPA).
Thus, the “Green Card” will also be issued to start-up companies with high-tech activities and services or those who are expected to create a product or service that is new for the Bulgarian market.
* The rules for issuing a Green Card have been prepared following Art. 31 of the Decree on Attracting and Promoting Investments of Municipal Significance in Sofia Municipality and the procedure for issuing Investment Certificate Class B, as well as following the Rules of Procedure of Sofia Municipal Privatization and Investment Agency. Invest Sofia will issue “Green Card” to investors and entrepreneurs who make an investment that meet the requirements for certification under the Investment Promotion Act, but have not yet benefited from it.
