Hitachi Solutions Opens an IT Centre in Sofia

Hitachi Solutions has opened an IT centre in Sofia. The office starts its operations with a team of 10 people and plans to expand to 50 specialists over the next two years. 

The company is in close partnership with Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and wants to establish a Hitachi Solutions student program, which will hire and train young professionals every year. 

The site in Sofia is part of the expansion of the firm’s European subsidiary Hitachi Solutions Europe. In 2012, the unit started with 35 professionals, and currently employs over 800 in offices in the UK, Germany, France and Portugal, and now in Sofia.

Globally, the company has over 3 000 employees. Its focus areas are digital transformation and Microsoft Cloud BI solutions.
