Invest Sofia: The bridge between the business and administration in support of Sofia’s economic growth
Invest Sofia is actively working and is the key structure connecting the business with the administration in Sofia. We support a wide range of industries, entrepreneurs, and foreign investors by facilitating their entry and expansion into the market.
This was stated by Victor Goussev, Head of the Investment Analysis Department at Invest Sofia at the opening of the seminar “The Platinum Rule in Communication – How not to lose 75% of Customers and Partners” . The initiative for the event came from ActionCOACH Bulgaria, a leading business consulting company with a presence in 87 countries. The seminar attended by the CEO of Invest Sofia Dr. Maria Hristova was aimed at start-ups and growing companies, whose representatives were presented with the latest investment trends, as well as strategies for effective communication with customers and partners.
One of the agency’s leading initiatives is the Sofia Investment Support program, which offers new and developing companies access to over 30 partner organizations providing pro bono services. This package includes legal, accounting, marketing, and HR consulting services, which serve as an entry point for successfully starting or expanding a business in Sofia, Goussev explained during the seminar. He discussed with the attendees the importance of overcoming challenges related to the shortage of qualified personnel, especially from countries outside the EU. The agency is actively working to create solutions to attract and retain talent that meets the needs of the local businesses.
