Circular Economy Conference and Matchmaking Event – Sept. 24-25, 2019, Oslo

Bulgarian companies are invited to take part in the conference and matchmaking event “Breaking the barriers in a Circular Economy”  to be held in the frame of Oslo Innovation Week in Norway, September, 24th and 25th.

The event is organised by Innovation Norway and it aims at providing a platform for discussing on-going trends and challenges, inform about specific opportunities under the upcoming calls linked to the EEA and Norway Grants and most importantly, provide an organised matchmaking for potential project partners across Europe.

The tentative agenda of the event is available here.

Participation and target group:

  • Potential applicants of EEA/Norway Grants Programmes, i.e. SMEs from Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Poland, Romania.

Please note:

  • Only participants that would be eligible applicants for joint projects under the EEA and Norway Grants will be considered for the event. This does exclude consultancy companies from participating.
  • Merely selling services/products do not qualify as relevant for participation. The event is about finding partners for joint projects. This means Bulgarian SMEs need to offer a partnership or look for collaboration with a Norwegian partner to carry out a project. If a clear need for partnership/collaboration cannot be found in the profile, then the participant should not be admitted to the event.

The number of available seats per country is limited ( max. 8 ). In case you are interested to attend the event, please apply for participation no later than Friday, 30 August 2019 on: breaking-barriers.b2match.io. Companies will be selected by an established committee, based on the above mentioned criteria and the financial standing of the company. Those ones approved for participation will be validated by Innovation Norway and could start booking B2B-speed meetings.

The participants in the event may receive a travel grant of EUR 1’000 from Innovation Norway for covering their travel and accommodation costs.
