Invest-Sofia issued a Green Card for administrative services to the first of its kind B2B trading platform in Europe, specializing in the trade of lithium-ion cells and related products on the secondary market.
The investment project envisages the creation of an innovative B2B ecosystem to optimize the purchase and sale of battery components, modules, and systems between small and medium-sized manufacturers, battery assembly companies, service centers, and recycling companies throughout the European Union.
“By issuing a Green Card for administrative services, we provide to the investors quick and efficient access to all necessary administrative services. This is key to the implementation of innovative projects and the stimulation of Sofia’s economic development. Invest Sofia continues to be a catalyst for innovation and growth, supporting both international companies and Bulgarian entrepreneurs with innovative ideas,” said Dr. Maria Hristova, CEO of Invest Sofia, during the ceremony.
The Green Card for administrative services grants rights to investors and entrepreneurs who launch and implement investment projects. This tool facilitates access to administrative services and supports the development of strategic projects in Sofia.
The size of the investment project is BGN 700,000 and plans to create 4-6 new jobs. The platform will function as a reliable hub for the secondary market, focusing on safety, certification, traceability in accordance with European regulations, and protection of participants through escrow mechanisms.
The unique value proposition includes access to fragmented quantities, rare OEM components, price transparency, and a holistic ecosystem covering logistics, compliance, and buyer protection.
