The 13th edition of the “Innovative Enterprise of the Year” is now open for applications by Bulgarian companies which have successfully developed and implemented innovative solutions. The awards are organized by the Applied Research and Communications Fund and Enterprise Europe Network – Bulgaria, with the support of the EU. The initiative aims at promoting innovative products, processes, services and practices in the activities of Bulgarian enterprises. The deadline for submitting applications is October 15.
There are eight categories: Market Leadership, Quality of Life, Green Innovation, Innovation Management, Social Innovation, Innovation in the Creative Industries, Innovative Start-up and Innovation for Talent Development. The condition for participation is that the innovation has been developed and implemented over the last three years. The official award ceremony will take place in the first half of December of this year, during the 13th edition of the National Innovation Forum.
How to apply for the contest:
You can register for free on the website of the event in order to get a personal account for application access. Once the access is received, the companies may submit their applications for one or more categories by filling in the portfolio and describing their application in the specified application form.
In the last year’s edition of “Innovative Enterprise of the Year” a total of 50 applications were submitted, and the winning companies included Dolly Media Studio for the latest technologies for production and post-production of video content; “Electrosphere” – the company that introduced the use of atomic clocks in musical engineering; “Software University” with award in the latest category “Innovation for Talent Development” for quality solutions in training of IT staff in Bulgaria; The start-up company Tickey Mobile Solutions (Tickey), which develops a comprehensive e-ticketing system for public transport; Proznanie Academy, which creates an author’s methodology for distance learning and virtual classroom VEDAMO; and “Sintal MM”, a manufacturer of dental alloys on nickel and cobalt basis.
