Only a month after Coca-Cola announced an investment to expand its production unit near Sofia, the company also revealed its plans to open an IT development center in the capital. The center will develop data analysis and training solutions, mobile applications and software products for information security, marketing, financial and technical activities of the manufacturer. The products of the development hub in Sofia will be used globally, with a main focus on the markets in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
The other information technology development centers of Coca-Cola are based in the USA, Japan, Singapore, India and Mexico. Globally, the center in Sofia will be the second largest in terms of size and number of provided services. The company plans to recruit 130 IT specialists to develop intelligent solutions for the business and operations of Coca-Cola.
