The official Opening ceremony for the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU will be held tonight, at the Ivan Vazov National Theatre in Sofia. The ceremony will start with the national anthem performed by the Children’s Choir of the Bulgarian National Radio. Authentic Bulgarian folklore music and the anthem of the EU will also be part of the opening ceremony.
The Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, European Parliament President Antonio Tajani, European Council President Donald Tusk, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov will speak at the ceremony.
