The total business climate indicator increased by 0.8 percentage point in comparison to December 2016, mainly due to the improved business climate in the industry and the service sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-5343 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/investsofia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Business-Climate-Indicator_Bulgaria_NSI_4-300x180.jpg\" alt=\"business-climate-indicator-sofia\" width=\"300\" height=\"180\" srcset=\"https:\/\/investsofia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Business-Climate-Indicator_Bulgaria_NSI_4-300x180.jpg 300w, https:\/\/investsofia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Business-Climate-Indicator_Bulgaria_NSI_4-243x146.jpg 243w, https:\/\/investsofia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Business-Climate-Indicator_Bulgaria_NSI_4-50x30.jpg 50w, https:\/\/investsofia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Business-Climate-Indicator_Bulgaria_NSI_4-125x75.jpg 125w, https:\/\/investsofia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Business-Climate-Indicator_Bulgaria_NSI_4.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>The \u201cbusiness climate in industry\u201d composed indicator increased to 0.9 percentage point compared to the previous month. This is mainly due to optimism about the business situation of the enterprises over the next six months. The composite indicator \u201cbusiness climate in construction\u201d fell by 1.2 percentage point because of a shifting in the construction entrepreneurs\u2019 assessments of the present business situation from \u201cgood\u201d to \u201csatisfactory\u201d, which is considered normal for the winter season.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The average capacity utilization in industry remained at its October 2016 level at 74.6%. Capacity shortages are expected with the rise in production over the next few months.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The selling prices in industry are expected to remain at the same level over the next three months.
