PropTech Bulgaria<\/span><\/a> has the pleasure to invite you to take part in<\/span> PropTech Bulgaria 2020 | The SEE Conference<\/b><\/a>, the 1st international PropTech Conference in South-East Europe (SEE).<\/span><\/p>\nThe event is the best place to get to know the SEE market, learn market specifics, know the right people in each country if you want to expand, find prospective partners, and scout for clients!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n A great crowd of\u00a0 PropTech expert <\/span>speakers<\/span><\/a> is on board. Event speakers come from 15 PropTech countries, namely, Belgium, the UK, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, South Korea, Bulgaria, Czechia, Slovakia, Romania, Singapore.<\/span><\/p>\n We are glad to announce that Invest Sofia will join the event as an institutional partner of one of the workshops to be held during the second day of the conference – <\/span>Sustainnovation in the PropTech Sector<\/span><\/a> with Peter Guendling, Belgium.<\/span><\/p>\n Book <\/span>4-5 November 2020 \u0433. <\/b>The event will be fully digital.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The importance of PropTech<\/b><\/p>\n Construction industry is the largest industry in the world as it contributes 13% of the global Gross Domestic Product. If we count in real estate and other sectors closely related to construction, its share in global GDP reaches up to 20%.<\/span><\/p>\n However, construction industry and existing buildings also have a significant share in another type of statistics, too. They contribute to<\/span><\/p>\n According to the World Bank the global real estate market is estimated to be USD 217 trillion, and 75% of it are residential buildings. The annual turnover of real estate transactions reaches immense volumes, e.g. in 2015 it reached up to USD 900 billion.<\/span><\/p>\n These trends will gain an enormous speed in the coming years. By 2050 Earth\u2019s population will double, and 70% of people will leave in cities. A sizeable part of these problems\u2019 solutions can be found in PropTech \u2013 the tech solutions for the construction industry and the real estate sector.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Bulgaria and the SEE region on the PropTech map<\/b><\/p>\n It is not by any chance that PropTech is one of the five tech sectors which attract most investment in Europe, as recorded by the European Tech Scaleup Report 2018. For a 10 years\u2019 period, 2010 \u2013 2020, \u0433. 11 200 PropTech companies globally have received external funding amounting to USD 92.4 billion.<\/span><\/p>\n Bulgaria stands out with at least 106 PropTech solutions which <\/span>PropTech Bulgaria<\/span><\/a>, has found out, know well, and analyse in its annual reports<\/span> BULGARIA: PropTech Mapping Report<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n PropTech Romania reports that there are over 100 PropTechs that have their origin in Romania. Add Czech Rep. with 50 more PropTech companies and Slovakia with 117 PropTechs. When you sum up the PropTech solutions of all 4 countries, the figure gets impressive!<\/span><\/p>\n The figure sums up to more than 370 PropTech solutions in the SEE region which is very close to the 342 PropTech solutions in Germany \u2013 one of the world\u2019s PropTech centers.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n PropTech Bulgaria 2020 | The SEE Conference is initiated & organized by PropTech Bulgaria in a strategic partnership with the British Embassy (Bulgaria), UK Science & Innovation Network (Bulgaria & Romania).
