Through a joint investment, the two companies will equip Nasekomo&#8217;s bio development factory near Sofia to breed improved blackflies and larvae for companies with large amounts of organic waste for processing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new joint venture Fly Genetics aims to launch on the European market in the second half of 2021. You will find more about the investment in the official announcement <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/nasekomo.life\/french-groupe-grimaud-and-bulgarian-start-up-nasekomo-announce-the-launch-of-a-joint-venture-flygenetics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Only three months ago, the Sofia-based startup NASEKOMO<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/investsofia.com\/nasekomo-zatvori-sdelka-za-4-miliona-evro-nay-golyamoto-publichno-obyaveno-finansirane-za-agroteh-startap-v-regiona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> received an investment of 4 million euros<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from the Bulgarian funds NV3 and Morningside Hill, supported by the Fund of Funds in Bulgaria, and by private investors from the UK, France, South Africa, and Bulgaria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Groupe Grimaud is one of the world leaders in multi-species animal genetics, bio-pharmacy, and Novel Farming.
