The consortium is made of a network of 26 digital innovation hubs with a target to reach over 170 digital innovation hubs (DIHs) by 2020.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DIH<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00b2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> aims to build a sustainable pan-European network to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and technology between digital robotics innovation centers. The project will support up to 144 external DIHs with equity-free funding of almost 1,4 million Euro and the opportunity to join the network. The selected new DIHs will work in close collaboration with one of the established DIHs, which is already a network member.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Who can apply?<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; DIHs listed in the European Commission\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/s3platform.jrc.ec.europa.eu\/digital-innovation-hubs-tool\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DIH catalogue<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and on the eligible countries\u2019 list.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; Legal entities representing DIHs that are Validated Service Providers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; RTOs, Universities, Technical Institutions, and Research Centres.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; Public or private entities which are not-for-profit organisations.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Submission deadline is the 31st of August 2020, at 13:00 CET<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can find more information on Sofia Tech Park\u2019s website\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sofiatech.bg\/news\/%d1%81%d0%be%d1%84%d0%b8%d1%8f-%d1%82%d0%b5%d1%85-%d0%bf%d0%b0%d1%80%d0%ba-%d0%be%d1%82%d0%bf%d1%80%d0%b0%d0%b2%d1%8f-%d0%bf%d0%be%d0%ba%d0%b0%d0%bd%d0%b0-%d0%b7%d0%b0-%d1%87%d0%bb%d0%b5%d0%bd%d1%81\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can apply via the DIH portal <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dih2-external.fundingbox.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">***<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A grant programme with non-repayable funds aimed at supporting middle-sized enterprises in overcoming the economic consequences of COVID-19 has been launched under the Innovation and Competitiveness Programme.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BGN 200 million will be directed to all sectors of the Bulgarian economy with the exception of primary production and processing of agricultural products, fisheries, aquaculture, forestry, and the financial and gambling sector.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The amount that a company will receive cannot be larger than 3% of the company\u2019s turnover in 2019 &#8211; given that the turnover itself has been over BGN 1 million and at least a 20% drop in the turnover has been reported from February this year up to one month prior to the application date.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Possible expenses can cover the purchase of raw materials and consumables intended for production of services; overheads and staff-related costs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The application deadline is 16:30 on August 24. EUR 1 bln. have been set aside to support new technologies<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and EUR 8 bln. to support promising projects which are still not available for market release<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
