Only a year after its launch, the Bulgarian startup raised \u20ac360K<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; 175K from a business angel and 200K from Eleven\u2019s second funding round for a 5.7% share of the company. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although the e<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">xact deal amount<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> remains undisclosed, according to Eleven Ventures this is the highest price ever paid for a company backed by a Bulgarian VC. The first place <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">used to be<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> occupied by Vayant, which was sold for $35M.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SMSBump has a team of <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">20 people and a customer base of 28 000 e-commerce merchants, with 85% of them located in the USA and Canada. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The UK, Spain, and France are among the firm\u2019s markets in Europe, and it also has clients in Asia and Oceania<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.trendingtopics.at\/bulgaria\/two-years-old-smsbump-just-turned-into-the-biggest-exit-of-a-company-backed-by-bulgarian-vcs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to Mihail Stoychev<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the clients of SMSBump have generated over <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">$100M of additional revenue thanks to the platform, and the company\u2019s revenue for 2019 approaches BGN 7.5M.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The American <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yotpo <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is a leading marketing e-commerce platform with headquarters in New York.
