\"\"By an invitation of the organisers, CEO of Sofia Investment Agency Vladimir Danailov presented to an Uzbek delegation the instruments for attracting investments, the economic and investment development of Sofia and Bulgaria, and the tools for encouraging <\/span>small and medium enterprises (SMEs)<\/span> and start-ups in the city.<\/span><\/p>\n

The initiative was carried out with the assistance of <\/span>CEED Bulgaria, part of <\/span>SEAF investment management group that provides growth capital and business assistance to SMEs in emerging markets<\/span>. The office in Bulgaria was established in 2005 as the first CEED Center in Southeastern Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n

The purpose of the organised visit was to exchange experiences, receive know-how and explore business opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Part of the Uzbek delegation were representatives of Uzbekistan’s economy and industry. Among them were experts from the Uzbekistan Ministry of Economy and Industry, the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, economic experts responsible for the development of the Ferguson and Sardary region, and others.<\/span><\/p>\n
