The event <\/span>Journalists ft. \n<\/span>Popular lectures will present a brief overview of the most exciting moments in IAU<\/span>\u2019s<\/span> history, the most interesting astronomical events in 2019, as well as the recent missions to the Sun. Light will be shed on the manifestation of stellar magnetic fields and on the nature of some impressive astronomical objects, like flickering stars and supernovae. The guests will have the opportunity to observe cosmic rays and to understand how and why the main mirror of the 2m telescope at Rozhen National Astronomical Observatory is removed.
