\"Automotive-Expo-Bulgaria\"This October Sofia will be able to boast with its own forum and expo dedicated to the automotive industry and the automotive parts and components market. AUTOMOTIVE FORUM & EXPO 2018, SOFIA will be the first of its kind for Bulgaria. The first edition of the Forum will be held from 18 to 21 October 2018. The event will be supported by AUTOMECHANIKA \u2013 the largest international exhibition in the automotive industry and will take place a few days after the end of the German exhibition in Frankfurt am Main.<\/span><\/p>\n

At a special press conference the organizers – <\/span>Inter Expo Center<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>Automotive Cluster Bulgaria<\/span><\/i> – announced that <\/span>AUTOMOTIVE FORUM & EXPO 2018, SOFIA aims to cover all types of new technologies, electric vehicles, auto parts and components, garage and service equipment, accessories and consumables for light and commercial vehicles. The exhibition agenda will include an international conference with proven global automotive managers who will present the most successful automotive projects in Eastern Europe and Bulgaria. A B2B platform for international meetings and a <\/span>career days<\/span><\/i> event for automotive and IT professionals will also be part of the EXPO agenda. Special attention will be paid to the future development of the automotive industry over the next decade through future technology demonstrations: Industry 4.0, EVs, fast charging, hybrid cars and autonomous technologies.<\/span><\/p>\n

In an interview for <\/span>SeeNews,<\/span><\/i> Lyubomir Stanislavov, the CEO of <\/span>Automotive Cluster Bulgaria<\/span><\/i>, announced the nascency of another ambitious project – the set up of an automotive R&D centre in Sofia Tech Park. The implementation of the Centre will create some 4,000 jobs, Lyubomir Stanislavov says in the <\/span>interview<\/span><\/a>. The R&D facility in Sofia will cover an area of over 50,000 sq. m and will include a lab, a training and an education centre.<\/span><\/p>\n

Automotive Cluster Bulgaria<\/span><\/i> is a non-profit organisation representing the interests of automotive manufacturers, suppliers and organisations providing services for the automotive industry. The cluster was established in 2012 and currently has more than 130 members. The industry hires about 40,000 employees in Bulgaria.<\/span><\/p>\n
