In addition, a new EUR 15 million procedure will be launched in 2018 to promote and develop clusters in the country under the \u201cInnovation and competitiveness,\u201d Operational Program, according to Alexander Manolev. The sessions within the three-day forum include topics that underline the importance of working cooperation between countries and regions in key areas in order to improve competitiveness and achieve sustainable development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Discussion panels focus on topics such as industrial development policies &#8211; modern industrial policy; business and joint activities between clusters and companies from different regions and countries; the importance of local competitiveness programs implemented in developing countries for the global development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to the presentations and discussion panels of the conference program, some of the delegates took part in a one-day program at Sofia Tech Park and were acquainted with what has been achieved so far in the implementation of the Science and Technology Park project \u2013 Sofia and the development of the innovative ecosystem in Bulgaria.
