In 2024, Sofia was visited by over 1.27 million tourists (10% increase vs. 2023), of which 61% were foreigners. In the first half of 2025, the growth continued with an 11% increase. Tourists prefer the capital for cultural landmarks, mountain tourism and business events.<\/p>\n\n
